Regular price $51.75 Sale price $45.00

Product Description

LiquaGen Calcite Media is a naturally occurring mineral rock, carefully processed for use in acid neutralization and pH correction of well water. Composed of approximately 95% calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) and 3% magnesium carbonate (MgCO₃), calcite slowly dissolves into water to safely and effectively raise the pH of acidic water supplies.

When acidic water comes into contact with calcite, the calcium carbonate gradually dissolves, neutralizing corrosive acidity. This controlled process reduces the risk of copper, lead, and other heavy metals leaching from plumbing, keeping your water cleaner, healthier, and safer for your family.

LiquaGen’s 10 lbs Calcite Media is perfect for refilling neutralizer tanks and maintaining balanced water chemistry in residential and light commercial well water treatment systems.

Key Benefits

  • Raises Acidic pH Levels – Neutralizes corrosive water with a slow, controlled release of calcium carbonate.

  • Protects Plumbing & Fixtures – Helps prevent copper, lead, and other metal leaching.

  • Naturally Occurring Mineral – Safe, reliable, and environmentally friendly solution.

  • Cost-Effective & Long-Lasting – Media only needs replenishing annually depending on water usage and pH levels.

  • High Uniformity Coefficient – Provides maximum surface contact for consistent, controlled pH correction.
