LiquaGen Warranty, Shipping & Returns

Our Promise: 6-Month Satisfaction Guarantee

We're confident in every system we build. That's why every LiquaGen-branded water filtration system comes with a 6-Month Satisfaction Guarantee. 

If you're not satisfied within six months of your purchase date, here's how returns work:

  • Unused systems — 15% restocking fee; return shipping is the customer's responsibility
  • Used or installed systems — 25% restocking fee; subject to inspection
  • Defective systems — Our support team will troubleshoot first. If the issue is product-related, we cover return shipping with a prepaid label and full refund. 

Every return goes through a quick review with our technical team. If your system is working as intended, standard return terms apply. If it's a genuine product issue, we make it right.


Reverse Osmosis (RO & RODI) System Warranty

What's Covered

LiquaGen RO and RODI systems are built to last — and our warranty reflects that.

  • 5-Year Limited Warranty on all RO and RODI systems
  • Lifetime Technical Support — free, forever, no expiration
  • Covered components include: housings, brackets, fittings, structural framework, and internal components under normal residential use

Filters and membranes are wear items — they deplete over time based on your water quality and usage. Replacement schedules vary, and our support team can help you dial in the right maintenance routine for your home.

What's Not Covered

  • Acts of God (flooding, fire, lightning, freezing)
  • Improper installation or maintenance
  • Operation outside recommended parameters
  • Misuse, neglect, modification, or damage
  • Commercial use (unless specifically purchased as a commercial unit)

At our discretion, LiquaGen will repair or replace defective components under warranty.

Warranty Conditions & Registration Requirements

This warranty is valid only when the system is maintained using genuine LiquaGen replacement filters, membranes, media, and components. Use of non-LiquaGen parts, aftermarket components, or incompatible replacements will void this warranty.

Warranty coverage may also be denied in cases of negligence, improper maintenance, misuse, or failure to replace consumables within recommended service intervals.

If the product is purchased through a third-party seller (including marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, or authorized resellers), the system must be registered with LiquaGen within ninety (90) days of the original purchase date to activate warranty coverage. Failure to register within this period will void the warranty.


Whole House Water Filtration System Warranty

Control Valve Coverage

Our whole house systems use industry-leading control valves from Pentair® (Fleck) and Clack®, each backed by a 5-Year Manufacturer Warranty. Unlike most brands, we handle all warranty claims directly on your behalf, so you don't have to navigate manufacturer channels yourself.

Tank Coverage

  • 10-Year Structural Warranty on all mineral tanks

Media & Filter Consumables

Internal filter media — including resin, carbon, KDF, and specialty media — naturally depletes over time and is affected by water chemistry and consumption patterns. Media is not covered under warranty, but our team can advise on service intervals based on your water report.

What's Not Covered

  • Improper installation or undersized/oversized system selection
  • Skipped or insufficient maintenance
  • Freezing damage or Acts of God
  • Water chemistry outside the system's recommended operating range

Shipping Policy

Free Shipping to the Continental U.S.

We offer free standard shipping on all orders to the continental United States. Most orders ship within 1-3 business days, with delivery typically arriving 3–7 business days after that.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day.

Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada: Additional shipping fees apply and are calculated at checkout.


Well Water Orders — How It Works

Well water systems aren't one-size-fits-all. Before your order ships, we review your water test results to make sure your system is properly sized and configured for your specific water chemistry.

Here's the process:

  1. Place your order
  2. Submit a recent well water test (we'll reach out if we need it)
  3. Our team reviews compatibility
  4. Processing begins once everything is confirmed

This step protects your investment and makes sure your system actually solves the problem. We won't ship something that won't work for your water.


Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking to update in the carrier's system. If nothing updates after 48 hours, reach out to our support team and we'll look into it.


Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, incomplete address, or customer refusal (for non-defective reasons), we'll issue a refund for the product cost minus:

  • Original shipping charges
  • Any applicable restocking fees

We don't automatically reship returned packages — please contact us, and we'll work out the best next step.


Damaged or Lost Shipments

We take freight and delivery damage seriously. Here's what to do:

  • Small parcel orders: Report damage within 10 days of delivery
  • Freight shipments: Inspect the delivery before signing — note any visible damage on the delivery receipt and take photos if possible

Claims are typically processed within 5–14 business days. The more documentation you have, the faster we can move.


Order Cancellations

Need to cancel? Contact us as soon as possible. Orders can be cancelled before a shipping label is created. Once a label exists, the order is considered in fulfillment and cancellation is no longer available — the return policy will apply instead.

Approved cancellation refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.


Returns

We accept returns within six (6) months of purchase. To start a return:

  1. Contact our support team for return authorization
  2. Ship the item back (customer covers shipping unless the item is defective)
  3. We inspect the return and process your refund

Restocking fees:

  • Unused: 15%
  • Used or installed: 25%

Refunds do not include original shipping charges, installation costs, or taxes/customs/brokerage fees. Refunds are issued within 7–10 business days of inspection.


Product Exchanges

Defective product? Contact us within 90 days of delivery. We'll troubleshoot with you first — if the issue is confirmed product-related, we'll send a prepaid return label and ship your replacement once we verify the return.

Want a different product? Standard return terms apply. Once your return is processed, simply place a new order for the product you'd like.
