LiquaGen 1 Micron Carbon Blocks have been specifically designed to excel in chloramine and chlorine reduction, making them the top-performing and longest-lasting carbon blocks available in our industry. With a chlorine reduction capability of 35,000 at 1 gallon per minute (GPM) and chloramines reduction of 3,500 at 0.5 GPM, these carbon blocks provide outstanding filtration performance.
The blocks have been developed with the latest carbon technology, incorporating increased surface area, higher carbon volume, and enhanced catalytic sites within the carbon's pore network. This innovative approach maximizes the block's ability to effectively reduce chloramines, chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other chemicals commonly found in well water and city water.
LiquaGen Universal Carbon Blocks are compatible with all LiquaGen systems, as well as competitor systems that use a standard 10" filter. Their superior formulation makes them particularly well-suited for superior chloramine reduction, offering a nominal filtration rating of 1 micron. In addition, these carbon blocks contain 30% more carbon than standard blocks, resulting in enhanced chemical adsorption and overall performance.
