The Membrane Flush/Flow restrictor valve is a convenient all-in-one device that combines a flow restrictor with a flush valve, ensuring worry-free use. This integration of flush and flow restrictor functionality into a single unit reduces the number of fittings, minimizing the risk of potential leaks or failures in the future.
The valve offers two different flow rates:
LiquaGen recommends flushing the membrane briefly before and after each use or conducting a more thorough flush every few weeks as part of routine reverse osmosis system maintenance. When the valve handle aligns with the valve body, it's in "flush mode," bypassing the flow restrictor. When the handle is perpendicular to the valve body, the unit is ready for normal operation.
The valve offers two different flow rates:
- 550 mL/min for 75 GPD single membranes or 150 GPD Water Saver Systems
- 800 mL/min for 100 & 150 GPD single membranes or 200 GPD Water Saver System
